OUR PROCESS & PRODUCTS
Our collections are imagined and designed locally in close collaboration with artists who share our belief that art can exist everywhere, including on cycling apparel, turning each piece into a form of expression, emotion, and identity.
The process
At Musette, every piece begins long before the first stitch and the first fabric selection. It begins here, in Vevey, Switzerland, a place surrounded by mountains, lake, changing light, and a cycling culture that is deeply connected to our surrounding natural environment.
Our collections are imagined and designed locally in close collaboration with artists who share our belief that art can exist everywhere, including on cycling apparel, turning each piece into a form of expression, emotion, and identity.
From the beginning, Musette has lived at the intersection of sport, design, and contemporary culture. We believe cycling apparel should not only perform on the road, but also carry meaning, creativity, and a strong visual language, shaped by the perspectives of the artists we work with, especially female creatives whose work brings uniqueness to every collection.
The cycling industry has historically given too little space to female voices in both design and artistic direction. For us, supporting women artists is not a trend or a marketing statement. It is a conscious and lasting commitment. We believe creativity grows stronger through diversity of perspectives, experiences, and stories. By collaborating with female illustrators, photographers, graphic designers, and visual artists, we choose to highlight work that truly resonates with our values and intentions.
Every collaboration becomes a dialogue. An exchange between cycling and art, between movement and emotion, between technical garments and visual storytelling. The result is apparel designed with purpose, pieces that carry identity of the people who created them.
Made in Italy from high quality materials
While our creative process is rooted in Switzerland, our production takes place in Italy, a country with a long and respected tradition of textile craftsmanship and cycling excellence. Choosing Italian manufacturing was never simply about prestige. It was about quality, transparency, expertise, and respect for the craft behind every garment.
We work with experienced Italian partners because we value precision, durability, and attention to detail. In a world dominated by fast production and disposable products, we believe in creating fewer pieces, made better. Fabrics are carefully selected, cuts are refined through testing and experience, and production remains close enough for us to maintain meaningful relationships with the people who make our collections possible.
Keeping our design process local and our manufacturing within Europe allows us to stay connected to every stage of creation. It helps us ensure ethical working conditions, reduce unnecessary transport, and preserve a level of quality that can only exist when people genuinely care about what they produce.
For us, cycling is not only about speed or competition. It is about culture, community, landscapes, encounters, and creativity in motion. Musette was built to reflect that philosophy. Every jersey, bib, accessory, and collection carries the imprint of collaboration: Swiss design, artistic expression, and Italian craftsmanship united through a shared love for cycling.
